Gariff were appointed by Laing O’Rourke to assist with the bespoke elements within this Grade A office building in Manchester City Centre. Works to the impressive lobby area included the manufacture and installation of a large, custom-designed reception desk comprising of back-lit Krion solid surface with wood veneered and brass fin detail. Also in the scope was a 9m x 5m back-lit feature wall consisting of stained veneered and brass panels with a cut out design to echo the building’s façade and branding. Other items manufactured in our workshop included bespoke credenza units with LED lit plinth and Larch veneered wall paneling to lift lobby area.

LOCATION: Camden, London, UK

Gariff were appointed by Airware and Baker Mallett PQS as principle contractor for the refurbishment of Dr Marten’s new Head Office in Camden, London. This 18,000sqft, 2 storey space combines three of Airware’s UK offices into one multifunctional workplace. This design-led project involved a vast amount of bespoke joinery pieces all manufactured within our workshop and then fitted on site by our specialist team of joiners. Work to the head offices included the addition of wall partitions, breakout areas, meeting rooms, product showrooms and reception spaces.  In addition, all electrics, wall finishes and floor coverings were installed on site.

LOCATION: Shoreditch, London, UK

Gariff acted as the principal contractor on the conversion of this Shoreditch building into a home for the modern audio system company, Sonos. The London studio consists of a concert space, listening rooms, work stations and a café. Work began with the interior demolition of the site followed by a completely new fit-out featuring custom-built interchangeable ceiling panels and rotating wall louvres which fulfil the acute acoustic requirements, and determine the feel of the interiors. Natural materials, such as reclaimed timber flooring, sourced from the old BBC Broadcast House, were employed throughout to create a welcoming, homely feel.

LOCATION: Rochdale, UK

Number One Riverside is a multi-use public building which consolidates numerous council buildings into one incorporating the central library, customer information point, meeting rooms and conference facilities. Gariff’s scope of works included creating acoustic rated olive ash radius meeting pods, ash clad bespoke feature staircase and all reception & information desks. Works to the library areas involved constructing bespoke book display units and a feature children’s area with striking honeycomb bookcase incorporating upholstered seating. Upwards of 130 toilet facilities and all QMark fire rated & acoustic doorsets were also installed. Other zones worked on included classrooms, sound-proof interview rooms, multi-faith facilities and security areas.
